There are several STX rentals advertised here. I suggest you contact the posters for more information.

If they have PM next to their names you can send them a private message asking for further details. But don't give any kind of non-refundable deposit until you are on-island and inspect the property in person.

Hi Lovebug,
I have a lovely large one bedroom unit available. We are about 2.5 miles from the hospital, easy drive, no traffic. We offer short term or long term rentals, so it's a perfect solution to the problem of not knowing the island, not knowing what you are getting for your money, neighborhood, etc., etc. We offer a minimum rental of one month. The rent on that unit is $1250 per month, plus utilities. DishNetwork and (soon come) wireless internet are included.

You can take a look at my website at http://www.virginislandsrentals.com. Pictures and info there. Also, next week, I will be posting new pictures of this unit. It is in the process of being painted and the furniture updated.

You can PM me, email casita37@hotmail.com or call 340-718-6744.

Thanks so much!
Juanita

I too am looking for a rental--October 20. I am taking my first travel nurse assignment!! Excited but nervous--not knowing the area/people. Would appreciate it if you could let me know if you have any luck finding a place--or if you guys need an extra roommate to share expenses. I'm 48--very neat and non-smoker. Thanks!

I have an apartment for rent on the East End of St Croix. The apartment is part of a home in the Shoys neighborhood, completely private and very safe in a gated community. A short walk to great snorkeling beaches (Mermaid Beach, Shoys Beach, and Tamarind Reef Beach), near golf, boating, tennis, scuba, spas, dining, and shopping. One bedroom with queen bed, one bathroom, open living/dining/kitchen area with a full kitchen and pull out queen sized couch. $1000 per month plus utilities. Will do longer term rentals or weekly vacation rentals. Email USVIHome@gmail.com.

Is the Orange Gove apartment in a private residence or in one of the apartemnt buildings?

If in a private residence, is it down in the flat area below or in the hills behind?

If you could tell us a bit more, it would be a lot easier to determine if this is of interest.

Warmest Regards,

Mio
