There are a TON of rentals available. When do rents start dropping island-wide?

Good morning poodle,

Rental rates have actually dropped in our office. We cannot speak for others, but more often than not, owners are willing to negotiate on lease terms right now. That being said, our rentals are always well-maintained, clean, and have practical rental rates. It is not fair to take advantage of the times right now; everyone is struggling, and everyone is trying to stay afloat, including owners. If something is above your budget, then you should stick within your budget. We have options available for many different budgets, and even though our rental rates have gone down, the quality of our rentals have not. If you are searching for a specific rental, then you need to ask yourself if you are being practical with your needs versus what you expect to get from a rental. Many people expect to get a lot for nothing, but keep in mind that owners put in a lot of money and time into their rentals, at least the ones that we market, as I cannot speak for other companies or individuals renting their units. If you want a nice rental with nice furniture, in a great neighborhood, with a bunch of amenities, then you have to expect that you will pay a bit more. It's that way in the states, as well. If you would like to discuss further, or have any more questions, please feel free to contact us at 340.719.1409.

Sunny regards,
Blue Sky Real Estate

I am looking to reduce my living expenses by moving more central. Times are getting tough, and I can no longer spend 75% of my income on rent & WAPA. Just as the landlord is finding it tough to make ends meet, so are the tenants. I don't want free, nor more than I need, I am just looking for a better deal that will meet my long term financial needs.

Good morning,

Please feel free to contact me at loni@blueskyrealestatestx.com and we can discuss what your needs are. I am confident that I can assist you with finding an affordable place to live that won't "break the bank." We can discuss your budget, exactly what you are searching for in terms of how many bedrooms you need, if you need a furnished or unfurnished rental, whether or not you have pets, etc.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Loni @ Blue Sky Real Estate
