Hi,

My Husband and I are moving to STT and we are looking for a apartment to rent with utilities included if possible. We would really appreciate any help we can get. The internet was not very helpful as it seems to cater to vacationers and people who are a buying homes. We would really like something in Charlotte Amelie or nearby, we would be out of transportation for a while.

If you have any info please free to e mail me. ([email protected]) Title it STT info
Thankyou
kyrell

You are not going to find utilities included in the price range you are going to be looking in. Thats more in the $2500 and up price range. I do not mean to sound harsh at all but electric is so expensive here that it is extremely and I mean extremely hard to find anyone who would include electric. Water & cable maybe.

Hello West Indian,

Check the classifieds in the Daily News and Island Trader newspapers. You can find online versions at virginislandsdailynews.com. You'd want to wait until you are on island to check the apartments out yourself or if you have someone on island that can do that for you, as they typically vary quite a bit in terms of the apartment itself, furnishings and so forth.

If you haven't already, you might check Villa Fairview which is downtown Charlotte Amalie. It might work for you for a month or so when you first get here and then you can spend that time looking for a more permanent apartment, http://www.villafairview.com/.

All the best,

--Islander
