Seeking Apartment/Cottage/House on STJ

I am seeking housing for myself and my dog (a tall order, I realize) on St. John. I am fairly flexible on timing. I'm willing to ride out hurricane season if that would be beneficial for the owner/landlord. I need to be back on St. John by November, but would definitely entertain housing options that are available in September and October.

There's only 3 things that are high on my list of priorities for any potential rental. I'd like an ocean view (preferably west to St. Thomas), gas stove, and acceptance of my dog. None of my priorities are deal-breakers (except the dog), just my preferences. My previous apartment was at the top of Jacob's Ladder overlooking the car barge and STT. Loved that view! I'm open to Cruz Bay, Coral Bay, or anything in between (Bordeaux would be pretty nice given the heat this year!)...as long as I can access the property WITHOUT 4-wheel drive. My car just isn't built for it.

I'm also open to shorter term subleases, vacation villas/properties that would otherwise go un-rented during low-season, or caretaker opportunities. In short, this isn't my first rodeo moving to STJ. Since it's always a struggle with the dog, I thought I'd see what's out there. Also, if anyone would be so kind as to run to Connections and let me know what's available, I'd be glad to compensate you....apparently, my completely unreliable friends have found that task to be far too burdensome.

About me:
I'm 31 (32 in October), single, quiet (no loud music or all night parties from this tenant), non-smoker. I'm moving back to STJ to start a business. The business will be based in Cruz Bay, but, like I said, living on the Coral Bay side wouldn't be that big of a deal to me.

The dog is 9 years-old, a certified service dog, and very well-behaved (not destructive). With the business I'm starting, he will be with me most of the time. I will be the only tenant, as I have NO DESIRE to have roommates. That seems to always turn out poorly.

Thanks for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you!

Any luck with your apt search? I'm relocating to STJ this Friday (September 2) and have thus far been unsuccessful at finding any 1 bedrooms that allow dogs. I wish I had someone to check Connections out for me as well!! Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks!
