Are you relocating to St. Thomas? If so, we have a beautiful studio available for short-term/flexible rentals! It is located on the northside with a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and Hans Lollick Island.

Check us out on AirBnB and message us (via this site or via AirBnB) for special relocation rates. We can offer discounts for weekly or monthly stays at less than what we charge our AirBnb guests!

Our Story:

When we first moved to St. Thomas, we were overwhelmed by the apartment search process. We didn't want to sign a lease sight unseen. So, we spent our first 3 days on island looking at dozens of apartments while staying at an overly expensive hotel. Because we didn't want to keep paying the hotel prices, we reluctantly signed a 1 year lease at a place that was less than ideal. To avoid rushing into a lease, we tried to find a place available for a few weeks or month-to-month, but there was nothing available...until now!  ?

What We Can Offer:

We recognize how stressful it is to move here. To make your relocation a bit easier, consider renting our studio for a short period of time until you can find a permanent place that you love. Additionally, we offer invaluable tips, guidance, and insight into relocating here. We can answer questions like: Should I ship my car or buy one on island? How do I register my vehicle? Where is the best place to get groceries? What areas of the island should I avoid renting in? etc. We've helped many friends, colleagues, and now complete strangers move here and fall in love with their new island home. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi! Congrats on your decision to move here! We only have a studio to offer, which sounds like it may be smaller than what your family needs. But, it is about the size of a hotel room, so if you’d like somewhere to temporarily stay while you look for a 1 or 2 bedroom, it may be the perfect place for you. Let me know if you’re interested and we can discuss further. I have some Airbnb guests coming durin part of February, so it would depend on whether our dates align as well. Cheers!

Hello Melissa,

You are so sweet to be so welcoming of new islanders. I, myself, are looking to transition to the island to learn more about myself, a slower pace of life, and hope to learn to meditate. I am going to share with you my story that I have posted on the What's going on St Thomas page. So that hopefully we can get to know one another better.

Hello, I am a 26yr old female from Eastern NC. I am planning on moving to St Thomas from NC, just me and my dog. (8lb, blonde chihuahua, Gronkowski Shane) I am a fulltime college student, all online. I graduate with my associates in Medical Billing and Coding, in May and then I will continue to my Bachelor's the following semester. I have bartended fulltime for the past 6 years. I have the opportunity to bartend in Red Hook and so I would like to move into someone's extra room that is nearby. That I may be able to establish myself with work and scope out the area to find a place to rent for a more permanent residency.

I enjoy a close-knit community, I do extracurricular activities and charity work all the time. I enjoy cleaning up the environment and helping at the local animal shelters as well.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Taylor

Hi Taylor - that all sounds very exciting and I think you’ll love it here! It is definitely a slower pace of life that you really come to appreciate. As for your housing needs, we are located about 15 mins from Redhook so we may not be the best fit. You would also need a vehicle. There typically are a lot of rentals available in the Redhook area that would allow you to walk to work. But, please message me if you’d like to discuss further!

All the best and good luck with your new adventure!

Melissa
