5.79 Acres in Est Clairmont north shore on the same road as Clairmont Mill. Sub-dividable, two building sites and unique rock outcroppings. Recent VI Gov't appraisal of $223,000, asking $195,000.

If $223K is the new assessed value, that isn't the same as an appraisal. A buyer would only be able to get a loan based on the value from a certified appraiser. If the appraisal comes in below the assessed value, that would be evidence to provide to the government to get them to lower the new assessed value so that the property taxes aren't higher than they should be.
