Hello I'll be moving to St Thomas on January 5 and just can't wait! I am a 22 year old female and have been a bartender for 5 years now, also have my NYS bartenders licence, among other jobs, but it's all on the resume. Two others are moving with me males age range 22-24 and the also have drink and food service history. We are all friendly, outgoing, respectful, and fun-loving people from Buffalo ! Currently Searching for hire and to rent a nice place starting in January. Looking forward to getting any tips and advice about the beautiful St Thomas community!

Have a nice Day!
Megan

You first need to determine what size unit you will want and where it will be. There are probably more food related jobs on the east end and in town. If you choose town then the north side is a good location. If you want to work on the east en then the Red Hook, Cabrita Point/Sapphire locations will all work well. But there is no safari service in the Cabrita area. Look at the island trader for rental units but January is pretty far ahead. But that will give you an idea of what things will cost.

Figure on paying first, last and security or tree months in advance. Unfortunately I have nothing to rent now.

There are lots of data on this message board you should take the time to look at.

Good Luck.
