STX - Looking for roommate May '08

I will be moving down to St. Croix at the end of April and am looking for a roommate, either at a place someone already has or someone looking to find a new place together. I'm a 33 year old, single male, working as an attorney. I'll be moving down from Chicago, so the pace will definitely be an adjustment for me.

I'll be working in Christiansted, so ideally I'd like to find a place not too far from there. I'm completely new to the island, so not really sure which area to look at, so any advice would be helpful. I'm pretty open as to price, and would like to find something fairly spacious and in a decent area. Looking at my share being around $1,200-$1,600, give or take a little.

As far as the roommate, ideally I'd like to find someone around my age, friendly, easy going, and if you're a Cubs fan we'll get along great! Otherwise I'm pretty open.
