1 twenty-something female and one thirty-something male looking for one good roomate to share a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Estate Welcome, just east of Christiansted.
House has the following features and amenities:
*New roof
*New windows and screens throughout entire house
*New paint job on entire exterior and most of interior
*New high-end Hunter ceiling fans in every bedroom, and in the kitchen and living room
*Washer and dryer
*Off-street parking
*Covered front porch
*Double-doors opening to sun deck
*Large kitchen with garbage disposal and plenty of space
*Lots of kitchen appliances such as blender, food processsor, coffee maker, etc.
*Fully furnished with nice furniture throughout
*Literally 3 minutes to town
*Beautiful custom artworks on all the walls
*Twice weekly trash removal, a real luxury onisland. NO HAULING YOUR TRASH TO THE DUMP!
*Mail service, another luxury. NO NEED FOR A P.O. BOX!
*Pets are PARTIALLY ok. A single cat? Shouldn't be a problem. A dog? Possible, we'd have to talk about that one.
*House gets a complete pest control service once a month. This is part of utilities.
*High-speed internet. This is part of utilities.
The bedroom available is about 10' X 12' and is fully furnished and in move-in condition. It has the following:
*New queen sized bed.
*Full, new bedroom set with dresser, mirrored bureau, nightstand and headboard.

We are looking for someone who is mature and likes to live in a nice place. We are not fuddy duddies and aren't opposed to partying once in awhile, but we don't want someone with a frathouse mentality.
All this for only $550/month + utilities! (Utilities average only about $75-$100 per person per month) Security deposit is $550. AVAILABLE APRIL 1st. Looking for someone to sign a one-year lease.

That's a bit too short. I could possibly could do 7 or 8 months though. The reason is because I'm usually off-island in the summer, and I really like to be on-island whenever I get a new tenant.
So, anyhow, if 7 or 8 months works for you, lemme know.

This sounds great. I am moving down there to work at the University May, 17. However, my job is certain for only 6 months with a likely renewal for 6 more. Please let me know how you fell about this.

Ok, new month, NEW PRICE. In order to get this room rented, I am REDUCING the monthly rent to only $500. As a result, the security deposit will also be lowered to $500. In all these years, this is the first time I've had to do this, so take advantage!
