Have you considered Puerto Rico, if you are not already in STT or STX?

Bob2: I posted the ad (from another source) because WE need teachers here in the USVI. Let Puerto Rico get their own teachers!! 😉

Hi everyone. Thank you for the response. I am busy getting ready to move to USVI so haven't been keeping up with responses. I am certainly available as an ESL/ social studies instructor. I am currently an adjunct college insructor in Anthropology. I was offered work in Hawaii but turned it down after what I've read these past few months of those islands. So off to USVI--my daughter and I.
Again, thanks for the response.

Good day,
I am currently a HS SS teacher in Portland, OR and am planning on moving to STT in July. I am not endorsed but have taught, for 6 weeks, (long-term sub position) ESL. Anyhow, I would like to offer my services in any way. I have 2 years of teaching experience. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] for future contact. Thanks- Mark

I have already applied for a teaching position for Elementary Education back in February for either STT or STX. I have 4 years teaching experiences for special needs students and gifted and talented students. I do have excellent references. I am moving mid July and waiting anxiously for a phone call regarding available positions. Please email me [email protected] if you are interested in my teaching services.

abradley: Don't get anxious waiting for a phone call! When you get here in July, make sure you go in person to the Department of Ed and start asking questions. When they see you are actually here in person, you will see more action.

Make sure you have enough money to keep yourself going for a period of time. Even if you get a government job, it is not unusual to go 2 months without a check.

Thanks for your quick response. I will do just that in July and have already looked into a nanny or waitress position to hold me over!
