Which island?
You didn't ask this, but I'll go ahead and say it: in my experience, unless speaking of shared housing, there may not exist many 2-3 bedroom options at the price point you indicate. I'm speaking of my experience in STT. Of course, YMMV....

We know it exists. We found a gorgeous brand new 2 bedroom house with brand new appliances for $950, but we called a day too late!
