Hi!
I'm expecting to relocate to St Thomas soon. Could anyone please tell me if there are any cooperatives who order food from a natural/organic distributer there? If not, does anyone know how Celiac's find GF food there??? Up here we order from UNFI and it's an invaluable resource for us.

Also, can anyone please point me in the right direction to find guidelines or laws regarding homeschooling in the USVI? I found the T'CHERs web site, but their info (at least the legal bit) seemed specific to Puerto Rico. I also checked the district web site, but found nothing.
Are there any good homeschool groups or play groups there for younger grade schoolers?

Thanks so much!!!
Dawn & Mark

Thanks Susan!
I've not yet found good info, but I have made contact with one other homeschooling family also moving in this August, so if nothing else we'll have each other! 🙂 I'll email you as well - and if we don't find a co-op, I may try to start one. I'm contacting my favorite distributor tomorrow to see if they have any accounts in the area yet.
I'm really glad to meet another homeschool family!
Dawn

Hi,

I'm also looking into home schooling our soon-to-be 6 year-old daughter. Any help/info on this would be much appreciated! Thanks.
