I am going to be homeschooling two of my children. I have never done it so I need conections,websites,any info anyone has.

We just had our first Homeschool USVI meeting today, and it was a GREAT success! There were 10 different families at the meeting all doing homeschooling. This is going to be a great group to be a part of since there are families who are new to homeschooling, but several that have been doing it for years. If you private message me your email address, I will send you an invite to the yahoo group.
Also, we have schedule our next outing. Here is the information:

Thankyou, but I'm on STX. Another ? though, My K child is wizzing through her workbook,she has had 2 yrs of pre-K skip to 1st?

I will be arriving to our home on St. Croix on December 15. I have 3 children. 7 years old(2nd grade)4 (K)and 4 months. We do a combo of Home school and attend an independent site based charter school stateside. If you want to connect and compare notes so to speak keep in touch.

I don't put too much weight on the "grade" level of subjects. Such as my son would be in the 2nd grade. However, we do 2nd grade math because he has not mastered it yet. But his reading level is 4th grade so we do 4th grade work.

We will be moving to STT next year and I have four children, three of which will be in grammar school. I also will be homeschooling and I was wondering if there is still a homeschool group? If so I would love information and who I can contact for when we officially move. Thanks!!!

Hello! I am new to St. Croix and have been home schooling my 13-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. Dying to meet more STX homeschooling moms or any referrals for those on STX, looking forward to meeting other USVI home school moms too!

Hello Everyone,
I am in the same boat, I have moved to STX and I am considering homeschooling as well. I have a 4, 6 and 14 year old. My children are attending school right now in California but I hope to bring them to the island the begining of March. Any help with information would be greatly appreciated.
