Need help finding food for gluten free AND casein free diet

Hello everyone!

My son has Autism and will be accompanying me to the island in June. He is on a strict gluten free/casein free diet. (Casein is the protein found in milk, so all dairy products are out, PLUS many non-dairy items to which they have added CASEIN!)

Tofu-based sour cream, rice-based cheese product, rice milk , rice crackers - these sorts of things would be a blessing!

Could you help me find places to shop for food for him?
Many, many thanks!

Have you visited? If not, I strongly suggest a scouting trip to make sure we have what you need.

Hello there! Each Thursday, there is an Autism Spectrum parents group that meets at the Disability Resource Center at 6:30 pm. This topic just came up last week, and I am sure the parents would be more than happy to provide you with how they deal with this dietary need for their children.

I will be there next Thursday (the well lit house immediately after K-Mart west on the same side of the road). If you would like, I would be happy to ask the question for you and to email information to you.

All the best,
