I just visited the AZ Academy and sat in their preschool class and I liked it.

Lan De Vi and Little People are both good and comprable to what you'd be used to in the states.

Little Peope is by Havensight shopping center and the number is 340-776-5683

Lan De Vi is harder to find but it's an excellent school, it's off St. Peter and you can get the number from Joy the owner of Little People.

Good luck!

Are LAN De Vi and Little People in STX? If so, where and how do I contact them?

We just started my 3-year-old daughter at STX Montessori on the Northside, and we love it! They are very affordable, and they have a summer program, too. I love the laidback atmosphere, all the amazing teaching tools, and they have fun activities outside as well! During the summer, Fridays are beach days!

Hi,

I would check out VI Montessori School and International Academy. They have a great toddler program called
Casa dei Bambini for 2 year olds and they still may have some seats available in their Primary program for 3 to 5 years olds

Plus the school goes all the way to 12th grade so you don't have to worry about looking for another school when you child reaches 1st grade.

Their number is 340-775-6360.

:-)Good luck and welcome to St. Thomas.

We are new to the island and my only 3 yr old daughter is begging to get back in school! Are there any free or low cost preschool programs offered on St. Thomas? I'm also intereted in play groups if you know of any. I see lots of posts in stx but not in stt. If I've missed them, please post the link so that it doesn't have to be repeated. Thank you!

When does your child turn 4 YO?
If you are eligible, you can look into the Head Start program on island? You have to be within their income guidelines though, I think.
Head Start phone # 774-5370

Doesn't hurt to call. Maybe they have some suggestions for you & help you out. They might know of other programs.
