I know the documents needed changed this year. Anybody had their driver's license renewed since Feb 1, if so could you please tell me what docs are needed?

Thanks

I think you need your SS card now.

Before this thread gets side tracked like a runaway train...

Please only post if you have renewed this year after Feb 1.

Thank you

I just traded my CT license in for my VI license.

They required the old license, an SS card or current pay stub with the SS number on it, and my passport.

I used my passport and voter's registration card, which has a SS# on it.

Here's an article from OnePaper with the requirements and ID options.

I took my soc sec.card but they used my passport. I think it says Soc sec. or passport. Also i had to take my stateside lic. to turn it in.
And took my V.I. voters reg. card.

Take everything you have basically. You never know what they might ask for. Rules change daily. deoends on the mood of the day.

On STT, they insisted on a SS card even though she had a valid passport & a VI Senior ID with her so I agree completely with Dixie Chick. It does no good to argue with them even if you're correct.

I agree, It does no good to argue with them.
The one paper article [www.onepaper.com) spells out what they will take. the writer got the info directly from the head of the DMV.
