Does anyone work at UVI? I need your help!

Good Evening All~
My high school senior has decided that she will make the move with us in a few short weeks 🙂 and has already applied to UVI for the Fall semester. Either her high school didnt send the transcripts, or they were misplaced at UVI. I was given the name of a "Barb" to speak with at UVI, however her voicemail box is perpetually full and wont accept new messages, or when I do have the opportunity to leave a message I dont receive a call back!
So, my question to those of you that may work there is, who should I direct the transcripts to and what is the correct address/dept for that?
I really would hate for her to miss the deadline for Fall acceptance.
Any and all help on this would be appreciated!!
Cheryl

PS~ see you June 8th!

Cheryl,

Ask the high school for a copy of the transcript in a sealed envelope they've signed on the flap (so it is evident you didn't tamper with the contents.) Resend the transcript Priority Mail Return Receipt Requested, and hang onto the signed receipt you get in the mail as proof that the transcripts were received by UVI. The website www.uvi.edu has the admissions application address. FYI, If your daughter waits to attend until she has lived here a year, she will be charged in state rather than out of state tuition.

You live here, right? Why not bring them to UVI and deliver them yourself?

Thanks for the help! I do already have her sealed transcripts and was going to do exactly what dntw8up had suggested but I really want to be able to attach a name or at the least the correct department so we dont lose more time. Of course it would be better if I could hand deliver them but we wont be arriving STT until the 8th of June and I know that there is some cut of date for acceptance. As for being charged out of state tuition we have talked about that, but my thoughts are that I really dont want her to lose the momentum of being in school.
Aquaponics~ she will be attending the STT campus and would like to get into the nursing program.

Now I must return to my packing duties :S

Hi,
I work at UVI, STT campus. You may drop documents off in the Admissions office, addressed to Edward Alexander, Admissions Director.
Good luck!

Thanks SuzanneB~ I sent Jillian's transcripts today directly to Mr. Alexander. Hopefully I will see on the USPS website that they were delivered and signed for !
