Thank You Carlos Furniture.

Talking to the owner of Carlos Furniture, he advised me he gives a military discount of 10% to the military. Exception to this rule, is once or twice a year when he has a big clearance sail(like now, he has 20% off most items in store). He cant offer the 20% and 10% military discount.

If you in the market for appliances, check out Carlos Furniture. With the 20% discount and 30% energy office rebate, the prices are better than Home Depot. Yes, you have to wait 2-3 months for the rebate from the energy office, however, you do get it and its an awesome feeling when you open the envelope and see a check instead of a bill from the government.

And Carlos Furniture delivers for free---Home Depot doesn't offer that.

Kudos again to Carlos Furniture for offering the discount to the military.

We like Carlos, for appliances, too. If it's not on sale, he'll give you a discount, just for asking, and most times you don't really need to ask. They'll just offer it. That's if you are dealing with one of the brothers. The lady that works the floor doesn't offer and if you ask, she has to refer you to one of them.

Love their free, quick delivery, but do be aware...if they haul off your old appliance, you will not get an energy rebate. You have to dispose of the old one properly and get it documented.

Carlos sold us something a couple years ago, made a big deal out of the rebate we would get, then offered to take the old appliance for $20, or something. You just pay the driver for that, but it was the man in the store that told us we could do that. We didn't know any better and let them take it, so no rebate.

Have to agree with Juanita, Carlos will generally always give you at least 10 percent. Most of the furniture shops and any of the local business will do at least that. I start lower.

The 10% Military discount Carlos Furniture gave me was after the price I negotiated for the item I bought. The total price off the item was almost 25% off---minus the discount price I negotiated and plus the additional 10% military discount.

Kudos again to Carlos Furniture for the military discount...............Thank You from the military and members of the veteran community .
