Anyone know if they can be paid on line? We are off island, and our bill hasn't caught up with us yet. I don't want to miss out on the discount.

Went down this week and paid in person. Wanted to make sure I got my portion of the bill "date stamped" "PAID". 5% discount was calculated by the lady at the cashier's office. Personally, I wouldn't trust on line payment or the mail.

I always pay by mail, generally they send you a payment receipt back in the mail as well which is nice. Even if they don't your next bill will show if anything isn't paid up on the reverse where it lists outstanding amounts. Like with any govt transactions just keep a copy of what you mail in, and a copy of your bank/credit statement that had the payment on it - no sweat.

Still waiting for our bill to arrive - hard to get a discount if you don't receive the bill in time

Don't know where you live, I am on Island and have two properties, only received a bill for one. Went to the LT. Gov office to pay the other, no problem. Was told they all went out the same days.

Hi Juanita!

I hope all is well with you.  I am not sure about online , however, they have taken my payment with a  credit card over the phone in the past, I think the number is 773-6459.

Even though your bill has not arrived in the mail, you can view what you owe on their website at www.ltg.gov.vi so you should still be able to receive your discount.

Dante 🙂

Thank you, Dante. I also received a message with info about faxing in a credit card payment. One of these plans should take care ot it!

I totally agree about having it stamped, etc., but.....nothing I can do about that for this year....just hope for the best. 🙂

They are speaking of the year 2009. Nothing newer has been sent out.
