Hello,
Has anyone received their 2010 tax returns yet? Thanks, I have been hearing horror stories!

Patience! The horror stories are all true. It has actually gotten better over the last few years, used to be years before you got a refund. I'm NOT kidding!
The best defense is for YOU to owe THEM money, if you can make it happen. If you haven't already, change your deductions to the highest you can. Then, of course, put it in the bank (draw interest) and be ready for next year.
Then when you go to pay next year, go in person, get your return stamped as payment received. It's a little different....:-)

No horror story here -- they always include interest with my refund.

i heard from an accountant that it would be june before they even started sending refunds. not sure june of what year!!!

I have still not gotten my refunds from '06, '07, '09 and '10...but I got '08...go figure!

Wow Marty! What has IRB said about the delays? I wonder if you can revise your past filings to apply the overpayment to taxes due for 2011, instead of getting a refund check.

What do they say?? You ever try to get someone to answer a phone call question from IRB?? They say NOTHING! Worthless gov't office...

I've heard from one person, they have their check in hand, so I think some have been/are being mailed already....

great news that they are already releasing some refunds......but i wonder what year that is from???
last year i got in june refund from 2008 then in july got 2009....
better late then never

Anyone receive there refunds yet. Saw a write up in the daily news a couple weeks ago that they had sent out some and were trying to get a lot more postmarked before the June 1st deadline.
