Hi I need a 3 to 5 bedroom home to rent beginning this winter, somewhat close to an office space which I intend to rent out. My budget between 4-7 k a month. Preferably St Thomas since I have 3 small children. Can anyone help me?

That is definitely not the norm for rentals here. You might want to check the Island Trader, as I saw a 4 bedroom at Mountain Top for around $4500, BUT- you won't want to rent anything sight unseen. Also, I am not sure how close you want to be to your office space. In general, as long as you are on the same island, you are going to be okay. 😉

I have a three bedroom, 2.5 bath, new home on the East End of St Croix with a roof integrated photovoltaic system which provides all or most of the electricity you will require. The current electric bill is $5.75 per month. Rental will be $3,500 per month. Call 719-5500

Uh-huh. You have a $5.75 electric bill for a 3 bedroom house?

Check the Classified section on this forum & the Island Trader on the Virgin Islands Daily News website & as EE said, don't put any money down on anything until you see it in person,

Thankyou for responding, why did you mean by it's not the norm for renting?

Most rentals are one to two bedrooms. Larger homes are available, but you will want to look at them. You also need to figure out where you want to live. It would be a good idea for you to come for a period of time to scope out the island, where the homes are, etc. You had a response from a landlord on St Croix. Where is your office space? Where are your children going to go to school? These are important questions...
