Would those of who who are adding pictures to posts please add to your title that pictures are involved? I read the message board via dial up and would prefer to skip the download time it takes for pictures.

Thanks.

Thanks Linda J.

Anyone who was reading the boards a few weeks ago knows my service is slower than grass growing. But at least Choice has finally admitted it is their problem. Until they get straightened out, I'm slower than dial-up.

It really is a pain having dial-up & I'm glad I don't have it any more but I understand completely your situation & the slow download time.

Most browsers allow you to turn images off. Which browser are you using? I can get the instructions on how to turn them off.

You can't change the title of the post if the picture is posted later in a thread. Maybe everyone should just post the link to the picture instead?

Trade, I think you're right. Places like PhotoBucket are really easy to use to store and organize photos (for public viewing).

There are lots more people down here with dial-up than it seems there is in the States where high-speed is much cheaper judging from other sites I visit but if the OP would do as Linda & Juanita suggest. I'll try to remember. It's usually the BIG pictures that cause the problem not the little ones or gifs.

FYI, to post a picture as a link, you most enclose the URL in

If you just post the URL of the image, the board will automatically display it.
