I've had several people recommend Sam Liang, but cannot find him on the internet, phonebook, etc.

Does anyone know if he is still doing taxes and what his contact info is?

Thanks!

You can find someone better.

I agree with Alana. He's too old school, imo.

Any recommendations of someone who likes to operate in the gray area?

Just some food for thought....every month in the newspaper here another person who "operated in the grey area" gets 24-72 months in federal prison, There used to be a lot of shenanigans here in 2002-06 and the effects are long-lasting. Don't do it. They aggressively prosecute tax fraud in the USVI. Pay your taxes and enjoy the beach instead of looking outside through the bars.

Well, Chucky didn't do time in jail, and we don't even know if she payed her damn taxes yet!!

Same for Ronnie Russell, and a slew of other politicians and high ranking "officials". The only one I remember getting sentenced lately is Rodney Miller.

Maybe you should write a letter to the Daily news or Avis to inquire.

I'm not saying it's right. I'm just pointing out some inequalities in the system, so to speak.

I'm not looking to do anything ridiculous, but I'd like to deduct as much as I arguably can.

Any good accountant can do that.
Using someone that works in grey areas may attract unwanted attention.
Just saying. Interview a few before you decide.

You might consider Jim Sheets, in downtown Christiansted next to the Comanche Hotel. I have not used him other than to run a few questions by him. I was impressed because he had the right answer and spent 30 minutes with me and would not take a penny.

My accountant on STT last year was just very very hesitant to write off things that were not 110%, hence my new search 🙂
