Hi! Im a massage therapist and acupuncturist in Florida, and I have been considering moving to the VI. Where can I find out about the regulations in both professions? Are there any specific requirements especially in regards to acupuncture? Or can I simply open a business of my own? Someone told me I had to work with a doctor because referrals were absolutely necessary. Thank you so much for your time, be well!

Dr. Trieu does acupuncture at the nirvana temple, you could call her and ask a few questions. She is a sweet lady, I'm sure she could give you some accurate info.

Dr Tr ieu also has done acupuncture on STJ. Don't know if she still comes here but she turned this person into an acupuncture believer. Lots of people here on STJ swear by her.
