They have changed the rules at the STX airport last week. You can no longer Park and wait for your guests , unless they only have carry on , at the curb.
You must park in lot. Once they have bags at curb you can then drive to curb.
Exception - if you are the king, I mean govenor, then your cars can wait there

thats always how it was supposed to be. a few years back people were getting booted for parking there and waiting

The rules are only randomly enforced. I was out there yesterday and there were cars parked with no one in them. If they know the police they are left alone.
