I am a recent law school graduate, I would like to relocate to St. Thomas. Can anyone, preferably a practicing attorney on STT, tell me about their experiences working in STT, job opportunities, average salaries, etc? I lived in STT before but it was years ago. I am looking for a moderate salary and regular hours (5 yr old child) so I can have a career and a home life that I can't seem to find in nyc. Thanks in advance for your input.

It's a longshot but you can try emailing Bruce Streibich @ [email protected].

Mr. Streibich was my English teacher in high school but is now a practicing attorney in the V.I.

Hey BKNY,
I know of an attorney here who is looking for someone to work with him. PM me and I'll give you the details and you can follow up.

I am an attorney on STT. I have been here for a year and plan to return to the mainland at the end of August. You can e-mail me at [email protected] if you want me to answer to specific questions.

I dont know her personally, but my boss on STT gave me the number of marie griffith (340.715.2945) as a possible contact for moving to the island (since she is a single woman closer to my age, he thought she might have good advice) she is a lawyer, i think she graduated from stanford or yale or one of those... if you give her a call, you can tell her that a friend of don mook gave you her number...just so she is not confused how you got it!
