I'm used to bank machines where you can do considerably more types of transactions than just a withdrawal. I used to be able to do virtually anything at an ATM that I could do at a teller at mainland banks like pay bills, transfer to other accounts, pay the mortgage, deposit cash and checks.

There aren't any banks on St. Croix that we could find that had branches both in the states and on STX. I don't know about STT or STJ. All the STX banks with physical branches are either local or regional.

We kept our BOA account from the states and used it for paying bills and so on, and had an account at Bank of St. Croix for local needs.

Banco Popular does, but I found the STX branches to be horrible, with long, long lines and run-down buildings.

Oh yeah, forgot they have some stateside branches. But they're not in most states, that's why they didn't work for us.
