wishing information on auto purchasing in St. Thomas or leasing inexpensively for 6 mos while living there, thanks.

You may be able to find a cheap "island car' as they are called, when you arrive. Just scour the Island Trader and Daily News when you arrive. There are some rental companies, that do rent for a six month period of time. Traveling nurses use them a lot!
