Bartending

Like I said earlier I have a good friend who lived in STT in the early 90s and worked as a bartender on Sapphire Beach. He said he was pulling in about $400 a week, working only three and a half days. Does this sound like a good average? Are bartending jobs easy to come by? I will be moving in April around the beginning of slow season. I am making the move permanently and am not planning on bartending my whole life but maybe for a few of years. I have experience. Thanks!

I don't know exact figures but if you're in the right spot & are good, you can do OK as long as you don't fall hard into the partying, drinking/drugging routine which can be easy to fall into.
