FYI. My backup Internet access is through ATT wireless.

Check out my Ookla Speedtest result. What's your speed? http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/1648905608

I am getting 1.88 down and 1.48 up - this is on the Residential Plus plan. We have been getting consistently slower lately. I need to call when they are open again.

And...how did you find out about the upgrades? I received my regular on line bill, but nothing else.

Upgrade info came through email as detailed earlier in this thread. Do they have your email address or do you fetch your bill on your own?

I never received any upgrade info.

It is really slow tonight. I just rebooted the BBVI radio and power cycled my router.
This is a plus account $100/month.

Well, my speeds are now below what I pay for so they better get the tower I use up to speed soon. Or reduce my bill.

Are there any updates to this? I am still seeing the maximum bandwidth limited to 2Mb/s & 8Mb/s at your router.

Why are you asking on a message board?
You should contact BBVI for updates.....preferably not on Holidays.

Why are you asking on a message board?

Because I was casually wondering if anyone had heard anything. I wasn't looking for support and my need to know did not rise to the level that requires a phone call. I would think it would be less work for them not to have to deal with 20+ phone calls looking for updates?

"At your router" sure made it seem like you were asking the provider.

Must be nice!
That'll never happen here, unfortunately.
Am I being to pessimistic?

My BBVI service speed has been degrading in recent months. Many nights you cannot stream video. I've called a half a dozen times and while the customer service has been great nothing has improved. Considering a switch to innovative because of the higher speeds and lower price.
