Best Realtor for STT or STJ Property

Good Afternoon Friends,
Can someone recommend an honest and knowledgeable Realtor? Someone who WILL NOT encourage me to buy something that isn't in my best interests. I need someone knowledgeable enough to show me how to buy a property and how to manage it correctly: rent it for part of the year to help with costs, etc. If anyone has worked with someone that you REALLY trust, I would appreciate the referral.
Thanks so much,
In Iowa

I purchased a STJ home with the help of:

Lori Walden
lorisnackwalden@yahoo.com

I searched all over for months and she stuck it out with me until I found exactly what I wanted and could afford.

I use Mucki Wesley of Curreri & Co Realty. She knows the island well and is efficient. Highly recommend her. (STT)

We used Rosie Nichols.
Here is her information.

Rosie D. Nichols
Curreri & Company Realtors
100 Blackbeard's Hill
St. Thomas, VI 00802
340-776-9292 (wk)
340-776-9030 (fax)
340-642-8981 (cell)
340-777-6049 (hm)

Don't know what we would have done without her and she is still trying to help us get the other unit rented. She has lived on the island for 13 years and is VERY knowledgeable. She also has all the right contact to make your purchase and closing go as smooth as icing on a cake.
Hope this helps.

I second Donna Wheeler. She was representing the seller when I purchased my home in STT this past February, but, she was a great help to me also!!! She even took care of me and got my power turned on for me and saved me the WAPA nightmare!!!!
Not sure if I told her or not....But she'll be my realtor next time I need one.
Thanks Donna, Jay

Piaa,

Do you manage or know of anyone reliable on rental properties? We are a professional couple moving down late July to mid August.

Ideally looking for a 2 bd, 2bath with all appliances (and W/D), part./fully furnished. Want to stay under $1500 per month w/o utilities included. Willing to commit to long term lease and have excellent credit and references., We have lived in STT before and now have the ability to come back.

Will be in STT for short trip on Mon. 6/25 (get in 3:30 PM) and return early AM 6/28 back to Florida.

Appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks in advance!

Hello. I don't know why, but I always throw this out there. I know many people who have stayed in these condos and the set up is pretty good for living on STT. Her name is Carol and if she had some three bedrooms, we would have rented there. Mostly two, one, or studio. Here is the website: www.hangyourhammock.com If anyone knows of others like that, please let me know.
