Best Veterinarian - STT - and Car Dealerships?

Hi all - any recommendations for which Vet to use on STT? I know there are only a handful (if that) but I wanted an opinion. I have 2 cats that will be joining me in May and I wanted to get their records set up and meet the doctor before they came down. Any advice/opinions are appreciated!

Another question - are there any good car dealerships (new/used) that people would recommend? I will be looking to get a car within the first few months and I prefer to go through dealerships. I usually only buy Dodge/Jeep, but I am flexible. Again, any recommendations are appreciated.

Hi irishstpdncer,

My personal recommendation for a vet on STT would be Dr. Williamson, from personal experience with our cats. I have a couple of friends with dogs who love Dr. Bodin. I don't thing either one would be a bad choice for any pet, cat or dog.

I have no experience with car dealerships on island as I bought a used Suzuki. There is a Toyota dealer, Crysler/Dodge/Jeep,dealer, Suzuki, maybe others..those are the ones I know...sure I am forgetting some.

Hope that helps!

Ditto on Dr. Williamson. I've been happy w/the service at the Toyota dealership but haven't bought a car there.

Always been happy with Dr Williamson - not the sweetest bedside manner but caring and knowledgeable.
Have used Community Motors for Hondas for my last 3 cars - extremely happy with them. They also sell Suzukis.

He saved a friend's who had been to 2 other Vets on island who couldn't help. Dr. Moore in Red Hook is also good.

Thanks for all the advice - I'll definately have to check out Dr. Williamson. I worked with a DVM for 2 years that was very quiet and not the best social skills and bedside manner so I'm used to that. 🙂 Just need a great Vet for my girls!

I use Dr. Moore in TuTu Vet. clinic. We call her the Dr. Mrs. and am very pleased with both her bedside manner and knowledge. We did unfortunately lost a litlle one to PARVO earlier this year but I hear it was happening in all the clinics at that time.
Dr. Mrs is also very good if you are little short on cash. As long as you make payments she will work with you.

Car dealerships? Don't know - oddly enough have always picked up cars from folks who didn't make it here and need a ride to airport.;)
