Had her as listing agent for my condo from 2014-2016. In that time she only found 2 "buyers" which both sales fell through. Unresponsive, I went months with the pending sales and never heard from her, was like pulling teeth to get info.

Also had her as property manager from 2014-2017. Fired her in March 2017. She sent rent late pretty much from the beginning. Her excuse was the tenants paid late, yet she never collected late fees as outlined in the lease. She was also using my remodeled property for her own personal gain by showing it to a prospective buyer, NOT FOR MY PROPERTY, as an example of what could be done to a similar condo she was trying to sell, without my permission.

I sold the condo ON MY OWN and had to pay the tenant's security deposit and last months rent (almost $1800 thats SHE was holding from the beginning) out of pocket to turn over to the buyer. When I tried to get the money back from her she refused and ran off with the money!

Avoid at all costs if you are moving to the VI or thinking of buying!!!!!!

You can file a complaint with the St. Thomas Board of Realtors if you have a valid complaint but posting it on public site could result in defamation if you can't prove it.

Thanks, I will be doing that.

Oh I can prove it alright....let her come after me for defamation. It'll save me the hassle of traveling there to get my money!

If the allegations are true, why not sue in Small Claims Court instead of here in the court of public opinion?

Maybe you can also file complaint with DLCA?

She's on STT.

I live stateside. Traveling there to go to small claims would probably cost as much as I'm owed. I'm ready to still do it though, just out of principle.....

And I wouldnt be putting myself out there like this if this stuff wasnt true...

So I filed a complaint with DLCA a week or so ago. Haven't heard anything back yet.

Anyone have any experience with DLCA as far as how long they take to process complaints and if they've ever actually done anything?

We filed but it was in person in STX. Hey we're fantastic, great information and super helpful. Helped get a bunch of our paperwork in order even too.
