I heard around the rosey that there are people you can pay to get your car registered, tagged, and all that good stuff, any truth to this? If so, any idea on how much it may cost? or how to get in touch with said person? Sure would be a HUGE help to have that be getting done while I'm out looking for an apartment and/or job. Thanks for any help!

"I'll Do It For You" at 340-775-0635 offers the service and the price depends on how much needs to be done but I've used them for years and found them very reasonable. I'm sure they'll be able to give you an estimate if you call.

The expediters take care of that. BTW the contact info I gave was for STT.

I use KJ Services 340-771-2469. Always on time and calls when any of my vehicles are up for inspection to remind me! There are several, at least here on St Thomas.

i was told you could not use an expeditor anymore. always used one in the past but since car has to be inspected you have to take it in.

I believe that's incorrect information. Possibly the expediter you used wasn't strictly legal?

I know that last time I was there I saw a sign that said only current licensed expediters can operate there. As of last month mine still was.

Perfect, thank you all!! I'm still debating wether or not I should ship my car or buy one there, it's such a toss up, both ways look fine I just don't know which would be better in the long run. Ugh
