Holy bat guano! I always thought that was one of the safest spots after dark,......not that late after dark however. 40 shots?!!? That's not a shooting,.....that's a fire fight! YIKES!!!

I wonder if any of it was caught on the live harbor cam???

Nothing but bad things happen on the boardwalk at that time of the night. It seems obvious to me that it was a pre-planned hit, especially reading the deceased rap sheet in the paper this morning. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I just got home yesterday from a trip to St Croix and stayed there all last week. I was on the boardwalk eating at Rum Runners Friday night around 7 and probably left around 9. I did not know anything had happened at all until I logged into the forum when I got home. I even told people at the place that I was staying the next morning that I went to Rum Runners that evening and walked around the boardwalk. They were asking me what all I did Friday and if I liked the area. I told them I loved the atmosphere of the boardwalk and had a wonderful time. They never told me about the shootings. Maybe they didn't know yet or just didn't want to tell me. However, taking advice from this board we made sure we were not out late. Plus I am getting to where I don't like staying out late. I had rather go home, get some good sleep and get up early to enjoy things during the day. I use to be a night owl and rather do things at night but I guess my older age is making me change. My parents said I would eventually change when I got older but I didn't believe them then. Now I do. LOL.
