I've been looking for months now and am not finding what we want/need in our budget.

I appreciate all the insight you all gave in my prior posts about looking for a used car on Island.

Has anyone had any recent experience in buying a car from PR or FL and having it shipped here?
Anyone ship a car through a specific dealer (like car max)?

Yes I contacted Tim west, look on craigslist daily, visit dealers, talk to my mechanic..

I can help you, give me a call at the office tomorrow. You can also take a look at this website, http://lmcarsales.com/inventory.html
There may be something on there you like, or I can help you locate something else. The company above is an affiliate with STX Direct, LLC. We can help you get your vehicle financed, and arrange the shipping as well.

We have ordered a new car from Metro Ford in Miami and had no issues whatsoever. They located the exact car I wanted, I wired the money, they drove it to the port and checked it in with Crowley. When it got here a few days later, Crowley called, we paid them and, inspected the car and drove it away. It has been great.

Now, I was a former Ford exec and I don't get my discount here at the Ford Dealership. By purchasing in Miami and shipping, it saved me $13,230 based on the price I received from Metro Ford on STX.

Now, for most people it would not be that much of a savings but it still would be a SUBSTANTIAL savings over purchasing here.

We paid just over $1000 to have an Explorer Sport Trac shipped from Miami, 2 years ago.
