I am looking for a few calabash's to make a project for my girls back home.

Any one know where they can be gotten?

If they are rotting on the ground at your place, I will be more than happy to come get them.

I am on St. John.

There is a calabash tree at Rust Op Twist north shore STX, go up the driveway and ask if you can have one. The tree is on the right side of the driveway past the yellow house

you must poke a hole in them and let them dry
then cut them in half and scrape out seed.
i use them for bowls.
pieces can be used as spoon.
they can be carved on the outside if you leave them whole. (still need a hole poked so they do not rot and get soft)
i made a purse out of one.
they have a multitude of uses.
i use one to clean my herbals too.*-)
