Trying to book the Seaplane from downtown Christiansted to downtown Charlotte Amalie in February, but their website says there are no flights whatsoever starting February 1st.  Anyone know why?  Is is just because they don't allow bookings so far in advance?  Or is it something else?

Anyone know why?

They're probably on the brink of insolvency again. Just a guess.

The airlines are busy again and Silver (same parent company) is adding new aircraft to their fleet and expanding their routes.  I’m wondering if the seaplane route is profitable.  It’s a fun ride for sure.

I’m wondering if the seaplane route is profitable.

If it were profitable, they'd be flying it several times a day. The last time Seaborne was profitable was back when Omer ErSelcuk owned it. Its been downhill all the way since.

They are certainly flying it several times a day right now.  Flies right over me on landing approach to C'sted.  Couple of wacky, really low landing approaches this past week.
