I've been online and only a few companies say the rates, others want you to email them for the rates......problem is NO ONE IS GETTING BACK TO ME (feel the frustration?).....Anyways, who has the best rates, (I'm not looking for anything fancy) and could care less if it even has AC....I'm a simple girl.

On another note....we will be going from christiansted to fredricksted one night...Public transport (is it an option) because I don't think we will be able to drive that night....... 😉 and prices???

Any and all info is welcome as usual!

I just use hotwire.com or kayak.com or something similar to search for a rental car. They list the prices for each type of vehicle and you can book it right then and there, online.

From my experience Budget has always had the lowest rates on STX. They list prices on their web page, too.

You would have to arrange a taxi for nighttime travel between C'sted and Fsted. Check with your hotel or villa manager.

I like Judi Of Croix too. Along with great, friendly service, they deliver the car wherever you need it, and they never overbook.

Centerline is consistently the cheapest on stx, but they are not as friendly as Judi. Olympic is almost always the highest.

We used Centerline for years and then the condition of the cars staring to go down hill.
They where dirty, locks and windows did not work right . Lights did not work. One car had the center council broken off and we even got one car with expired plates.
We now us Budget. Their prices are competitive and they are much easy to pick up and drop off since they are located right at the airport

We saw some tourists in a car from Either Budget or Avis .... drove up to Pt Udall to take a peak... and everyone noticed immediately Their Tires were BALD! Not even slightly exaggerating! Please please please - check your car before you take it!
