Any suggestions as to where I can store my car for 3-6 months that is secure and resonably priced
Thanks

Fortress Storage in STT does it, so I would suppose there may be a storage unit place that does it over there as well?

There is a commerical on TV for a storage facility on Stx. Sorry, I can't remember the exact name of it, but it might be Sun Self Storage.

LOL...Storage facilities are expensive, even in the states. Especially for one large enough to fit a car.

Did you call any other storage facilities on island? If so, how are their prices?

Can you leave it at a friend's house? And buy a car cover to protect it from the elements.
Offer them what you can afford &/or do some type of bartering.

Some storage facilities in the states will let you store your vehicle on their premises, if they have room, instead of in a locker.
Did you ask them about that? Maybe they also do it here on island. That should be a cheaper alternative than a locker at the facility, if they offer that service.

Good luck!

The storage facility out east at Seven Flags road says they store cars, boats, etc....I think their commercial says they store anything...no clue as to pricing.

I've stored my Jeep for eight months two years in a row at Seven Flags. It was parked outside, but still within its secured, fenced-in area (along with several other cars and some boats). No problems at all. Parking outside was a lot cheaper than inside. If having the car exposed to the weather is not an issue, then I'd say this is a good option.

I think Seven Flags Storage is the cheapest...if outdoor storage is an issue for sun exposure, you can always use an inexpensive car cover.

I went thru a cheap car cover every few months. The sun just rotted them out. I then bought a good one $300 or so, and it lasted a couple of years until the wind finally got it.

My experience is the same as Terry's. I parked my Jeep at Seven Flags outside for two seasons. Both times, the cover was shredded after about two months.
