I have lived on stt already for a year, and have decided I would like to stay permanently. I have decided I would like to find a job on a charter sail or powerboat, work for a couple years, and then get my captians license. My question is - Does anyone know offhand (or through the Coconut Telegraph) - which charter companies would be good one to start with or if anyone on island knows of any boats that are hiring now for season(preferably in Red Hook)? I know it is a bit more difficult to get a mate job, being as I am a male.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
