Has anyone heard about Chef Digby Stridiron's news restaurant called Balter, on STX?

I got the email from Food + Wine Experience and saw the Balter logo at the bottom listed under Sponsors.

I was intrigued by the design of the logo, and the name, so I googled it. Turns out that Chef Stridiron is/did(?) opening a restaurant called Balter.

The only thing I know is that he started opening it in December (found an article about him on a foodie site) but I don't know where the restaurant project stands because I cannot find any more info.

Does anyone have any info?

I thought he was opening up downtown where Zenny's used to be. But I heard that about six months ago and haven't noticed any work going on there. He's a talented chef so I was looking forward to seeing what he had to offer. With Tutto Bene and the Galleon closing at the end of the season, there are several options available to him.

From what I've read, this is still a go, but the timetable is "later this year." Digby has been posting about it on Facebook.

thanks everyone

Where Zenny's used to be - is that the stand alone building on the left as you leave town, where Urban Threadz used to be back in the early 2000's?
