Hello I am looking into purchasing a condo or small home in St Croix and would like to have a contact there other than the real estate agent...is there anyone who would be interested in discussing with me some questions I have about USVI living, expenses, locations etc?

Yes, many people on this forum are interested in discussing moving questions. Ask away. Also search and read earlier postings, and explore the links at the top of these pages (Pre Move, The Move, Island Life, etc.).

I agree. Never, ever buy in the first year. Rent and then get to know the island. Then begin to look around. You will spend some rent money but it will be the best money you spend.
