Just curious if anyone knows - If one relocates back to the States after living in the VI for years, are there any customs duties assessed on items bought in the VI's? This would include items shipped from the States to the VI's. Thanks!

There is no duty on your personal property if you are moving back to the mainland. Just don't try to sneak a bunch of stuff in your shipment for commercial resale in the states and you'll be fine.
