Ah, so it was dropped several weeks later. I thought that was the case but couldn't find verification anywhere.

Roy Schneider paid $50,000 to have the 14 counts of criminal charges dropped. That's interesting, considering that the amount of embezzled funds was $29,400. I think the extra $20,600 was for having his disgraced name prominently displayed on a certain hospital in STT.

So typical of the VI way of handling things: They GVI wouldn't accept de Jongh's check for $200,000+ so they could have him arrested, spend tens of thousands to try him, only to receive no more than $10,000 from the fine he'll have to pay.

Are these people for real? No wonder the government is insolvent.

Yeah and look who they named our library after... Turnbull!
It's a joke. (Not a funny one.)
It should have remained the Edith Baa library as it was originally.
