My fiancé and I are interested in moving to St. Thomas. She is in dental school and wants more information on practicing in the Virgin Islands and the availability of jobs. Can any of you recommend a dentist that she can email with a few questions? Your help is most appreciated!

Here's one Dr Henry Karlin 340 775-9110. He might be able to help you.

Thanks so much for the help. Dr. Karlin sounds like a pretty cool guy. Could you send me his email address by chance? I would rather contact him that way than bother him with a phone call from a total stranger. That way he can respond on his own time or not at all if he doesn't want to. Thanks again!

[email protected] is his wife's (Debbie) e-mail addy. I just called their house to get it. She said that it may be a day or two before she replies, as her computer at home is down, so she can only reply when she is at the Dental Office (she runs the office area, as well as teaching at the University...slow down, Deb!). But she is looking forward to the mail, is aware of this board, and will bring it up to Doc....

I am also a dental student and planning on moving to st. thomas. Dr. Karlin sounds like a really cool guy as I love the dead myself. Are there many job oppurtunities for dental hygienist jobs? I have been struggling to find long term rentals Any suggestions?
