i'm looking for a man who flew from puerto rico to stt on friday around 4:00. he was wearing a charcoal gray t-shirt blue jeans and light colored work boots. he had dark hair and green eyes and i'm guessing in late 30's - very attractive.
i know this is a long shot but i just had to try.

Why not try Craiglist also? I've read one success story using the site. 🙂 Goodluck!

If you DO find him, you've GOT to come back and let us know what happened. It's cruel and unusual punishment to leave us hanging. 🙂 Good luck!

Oh My Gosh - I promise I will come back and tell you if this worked.
There was something going on there in the Puerto Rico terminal- we practically stared a hole in each other and .....a woman just knows. I'm so mad at myself for not being a little more forward - i just wish i would have handed my email address over and then..........
Damn it!

Did you talk to him at all? Does he live here or was he just visiting?

No I didn't talk to him. We tried to act like we weren't looking but every time I looked over he was looking and vice versa.
He had a very good tan so my guess he lives there.
I hate those "I wish I would have" moments. All this sounds crazy I know!

I flew out on the flight before his to Stx.
Did I already say damn it?

Are you living in STX? Put a personal ad in the Island Trader or the Daily News or both.

Of course I don't know what is on the inside but the outside was just my style - We would make a nice looking couple! - 😉

Isn't this the kind of thing you do when your younger? or ......never too old?

You have to make a move when those feelings strike you - regret is not the dish best served cold.

Anybody have a time machine i could borrow for 3 days ago?

Exit Zero - I was so close to getting off that little bus and handing him my email address but ladies aren't supossed to make the first move are they? I know, I know...things are different and I should have been more bold. Plus my plane was leaving and I froze. Oh well another lesson learned!

Better get the ad in the Island Trader. It comes out on Thursday but I don't know their cut-off time.

Good luck with your ad! What should I wear to the wedding?

Nope, I don't think this is the kind of thing you do when you're younger... this is the kind of thing younger people are too chicken to do, and when you grow up you realize that life is too short to worry about rejection.

If this doesn't work, the only way to console yourself is to tell yourself that he's probably married with 4 kids and is just this side of scumbag for not going beyond staring holes in you, and you were lucky not to get involved. And next time, you will LEAP into action, just in case the next guy isn't married. 🙂

if this was a movie....my thread on this message board would find him. i have emailed island trader - no response and i called with no answer? must be on a break?

on the married issue - checked....no ring and no tan line on the finger so......i wouldn't have looked twice if i would have have seen either one. of course, that doesn't always mean available - right.

roadrunner,
i guess i'm in the middle - not younger to be too chicken and not too old to care about rejection. it's a whole lot easier to say than it is to do in the moment.

and so the "days of our stx lives" show continues. not such a pretty day but a cool one with a great breeze!

Island Trader deadline is 3:00 Tuesday. You can go to the VI Daily News website and place the ad through them. Just scroll down the left side for Island Trader Classified. However...Island Trader is mostly a St. Thomas paper. We have the Crucian Trader on STX. The ads are free. You email mfelix@dailynews.vi with your ad. It will run until you cancel it.

Since he was tan, maybe we works on the water, like a day boat captain or something. Check out the charter companies on the boardwalk. Good luck!

Thanks Juanita - I think I got it submitted just in time. My fingers are crossed!
He wasn't going to Stx or he would have been on my plane!

Chockman - What are you bringing? I don't understand what you are trying to say.

This reminds me a little of the '80's Madonna movie "Desperately Seeking Susan". Having graduated high school in the 1987 it brings back more than a few fond memories. Good luck!
