Drowning

Has anyone heard of someone drowning at Bolongo this past week.
I was told by a tourist that a local had drowned there, but havent heard anything else about it.

That should have made the paper but I haven't seen it, unless I missed it.

Drownings do happen here and in St John and don't make the paper.

The man that died at Bolongo did not drown. He died of a drug overdose, which brought on seizures and fell into the water. I can tell you this because I identified the body.

That is very sad....it does sound like teh story I heard, the man told me it somehow involved siezures.

He also said it was a local man.

TY for your condolences, He worked for me for a short time and the Forensics Detective is my island daughter, which recognized him from that and I couldn't let him go to the morgue as a John Doe. It is a sad situation! Just wanted those that might have been concerned as to the safety of Bolongo, I think it is a great resort and very safe.
