Has anyone heard of someone drowning at Bolongo this past week.
I was told by a tourist that a local had drowned there, but havent heard anything else about it.

That should have made the paper but I haven't seen it, unless I missed it.

Drownings do happen here and in St John and don't make the paper.

The man that died at Bolongo did not drown. He died of a drug overdose, which brought on seizures and fell into the water. I can tell you this because I identified the body.

Debsst,
If the circumstances that led you to identify the man are because you personally knew him, my condolences.

TY for your condolences, He worked for me for a short time and the Forensics Detective is my island daughter, which recognized him from that and I couldn't let him go to the morgue as a John Doe. It is a sad situation! Just wanted those that might have been concerned as to the safety of Bolongo, I think it is a great resort and very safe.
