On St Thomas, the adult parade is May 2nd. Carnival started couple of weeks ago.

Thanks All! So would it be safe to assume that it will be business as usual on Monday the 4th?

That would be called " Last Lap " and includes dancing down the beach - if the Rising Stars are playing it should be a great time - - - - BTW, the fireworks on Sat Night are at 9pm off the barge in the harbor stationed between the Legislature building and the old Pumphouse - boats anchored there or nearby will have to relocate.

Any suggestions on where to watch the fireworks from and avoid traffic/huge crowds ? I would be coming from Crown Mountain ...

Mafolie Hotel pool deck might be a good choice - Frenchtown on the dock usually has a convivial gathering - Bluebeards is a prime viewing spot too.

You can get a pretty good view at the Reef. They have that patio back behind where the front desk is.
