I am a year away from moving. I plan on getting my Maters at USVI (St Croix) a year after I move in order to pay (in-state) tuition. My dilemma is this: I am deciding between a Master's in Public Administration or a Master's in Guidance and Counseling (Education). Are any of these fields marketable. Are there decent paying jobs with only a Bachelor's in Education while? My wife is a Social Worker. There seem to be jobs for her. Any advice would be great.

IMHO, pick a career that interests you, something you have a passion for. If you worry about "marketability" you will not be happy in the long run. There are indeed social work jobs.

And make sure there is a masters program in your field at UVI on STX.
